Managed Care Systems, Inc. started in February 1997 with the objective of developing health claim processing software that completely automates the claim handling process. The result of this effort is a product that out-performs all others in its ability to process health claims with no manual intervention.  This system, called IMPACT, is so fully automated that some of its users are approaching the unbelievable target of 100% auto-adjudication with a 1 day turn around.  Their claim examiners now dedicate their time and knowledge focusing on real claim exceptions instead of wasting time examining mundane pocessing issues.  Data entry personnel with very limited claim knowledge now enter their claims.  Because it can achieve such a high level of auto-adjudication, IMPACT is the premier system for effective EDI claim processing and for scanned or outsourced claim data entry operations.
